This was a small tribute to "The Smurfs" a show I never really liked as a kid and less so as an adult with the movie adaptation; an attempt to make something that was never cool, cool somehow. Though combining CGI with live action  The main things I didn't like about the television show was the theme song, the fact their mortal enemy is a wizard who doesn't seem know any magic and his cat- 

Honestly, how hard would it have been to make this using Maya?

Also none of the Smurfs themselves seemed that interesting outside of their name = characteristic = name thing and the use of the word "smurf" every so often to mean people, places and things. The show irked me.
