Clown turn Head Ed Dyer 2011

This is one of the first animated clips I've made in my course, basically a robot clown turning its head, put together by my 2D Animation teacher Jozef Szekeres. I used Stop Motion Pro to make this along with a laptop and a webcam, the drawings I produced by hand on a pad of bond paper, which is just see through enough to imitate the old school lightbox. The clip is under 5 seconds so for the overall effect to have that GIF quality set it to repeat.

Me with comic book artist, animator and one of my teachers Jozef Szekeres! I had the good fortune of snapping up a signed limited edition copy of his comic book Elf-Fin Hyfus and Tilaweed, a fantasy genre graphic novel series based around the adventures of a community of mermaids. The artwork is to say the least exquisite and the story has a strong romantic strain written by Julie Dietrich.
I just like to add I've searched my whole life for a teacher I not only respect, but admire. But it needs to be said there are those who go to uni to become teachers and there are those who are gifted high achievers who are requested to come and teach.
There is nothing more impressive than proof of skill.
