Thirsty Work: My triumphant return to animation

It's been roughly 9 years since I've done anything in the world of animation on anything beyond a hobbyist level scale, while I briefly returned to the world of being an animation student back in 2012 but to paraphrase Jeff Goldblum in Jurassic Park: "Life... gets in the way"

So my career in animation partially stalled, but now... appears to be slowly reviving

Almost as if it just got a new lease on life

Rain bombs and Long walks on the Beach

It hasn't rained like this in ages, one of those once in a 100 years events I guess. Anyway since I've decided to dedicate Sundays to Social medias I figured it'd be good to post some new stuff.

Down by the Beach: Lord of the Rings in Cronulla

Mostly people from Sydney would get this reference...

The work train is full steam ahead and that small window of uncertainty that was 2020 is now a fading memory, commissions are officially closed for March.

First Convention of 2021: Back to the old Drawing Board

It was a decent hiatus, but it's even better to be back. My bookings are all ready to go and I'm going to be drawing live again for events at upcoming dates and locations around the country.

Space Jam: Resurrecting Way-Back-Wednesday

One of my all time favourite sports movies is Space Jam. The Looney Tunes were everywhere back during the 90's, some weird and some downright bizarre, yet valiant efforts, were made to make these characters cool.

Michael Jordan was coming to the end of his career as a baseball player (a sport which though he was passionate about did not excel), and subsequently signed up to play the real life "straight man" alongside Bugs Bunny to herald his triumphant return to professional basketball...

the 90's era sports movie to end all 90's era sports movies...

I was still in high school when this came out, and while I never liked basketball... I did like this

These guys went through something of a Renaissance during the 1990's

...and some not so memorable experimentations...

...to wind up back to basics (with some caveats to appease modern audiences)
